About Kalafatis
Kalafatis is wide, open and less crowded than the south coast, and when the meltemi blows it becomes one of the island’s watersports centres, with schools and rental. On calm days it is a lovely, uncrowded swimming beach with tavernas nearby, including Spilia in its sea cave.
