Corfu Old Town
Venetian, French and British in one town

About Corfu Old Town
Corfu Town feels unlike anywhere else in Greece: four centuries of Venetian rule, then French and British administrations, left tall pastel houses on narrow kantounia, the arcaded Liston promenade, Venetian forts and a cricket pitch on the Spianada. The old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander, sit at a café under the Liston arcades, and visit the church of Agios Spyridon, the island’s patron saint.
