About Megaro Gyzi

Megaro Gyzi is one of the few grand houses in Fira to survive the 1956 earthquake. Its rooms hold engravings, maps and photographs of Santorini before and after the quake, and in summer it hosts exhibitions and concerts. A calm, cultured half-hour in the busiest town on the island.

Why it's on our list

  • Survived the 1956 earthquake
  • Old maps and photographs
  • Summer exhibitions and concerts

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Megaro Gyzi before you go.
