Santorini’s vines grow low, woven into basket shapes that protect the grapes from the wind, and the island’s Assyrtiko is one of the great white wines of Greece; Vinsanto is the traditional sweet wine. Several wineries around Megalochori, Pyrgos and Exo Gonia offer tastings, so choose a driver or join a tour.
