The island’s tomato story
About Tomato Industrial Museum
Before tourism, Santorini lived on wine and its small, intense cherry tomatoes, and this old factory on the shore at Vlychada processed them into paste. The machinery, photographs and recorded memories of the workers tell that story well, and the same buildings host the Santorini Arts Factory’s exhibitions and performances. Pair it with a swim below the ash cliffs and lunch at the marina.
