About Chora, Ios
Ios built its fame as the party island of the Aegean, and Chora is where it happens. By day it is a lovely, quiet Cycladic village of blue domes, windmills and the church of Panagia Gremiotissa looking out to sea. After midnight the lanes fill with young travellers moving between bars until dawn, especially in July and August. In June and September it is far calmer, and the island’s beauty takes centre stage.
