About Mykonos Town (Chora)
Chora is where Mykonos shows off. Lanes barely wider than a doorway twist between whitewashed houses with blue and red shutters, bougainvillea spills over balconies, and designer boutiques sit next to tiny chapels. Mornings are calm and lovely for photographs; by ten at night the same lanes are full of a well-dressed, international crowd moving from dinner to cocktails. Prices are among the highest in Greece, so set a budget and enjoy the show.
