About Getting around Folegandros
Folegandros is small and simple to get around: the island bus connects Karavostasi, Chora and Ano Meria and runs to some beaches in summer, and small boats take you to Katergo and other coves. For freedom, Evo Rent a Car and Moto Spyros rent cars and motorbikes near the port. Book ahead in July and August, check what the insurance covers and bring your licence; check whether yours needs an International Driving Permit. Scooters above 50 cc need a motorcycle licence, and helmets are compulsory.
