About Car & scooter hire on Paros
Paros is easy by bus between Parikia, Naoussa and the main beaches, but a car opens up the mountain villages and quiet coves. Local companies such as Stratos Rentals have offices in Parikia near the port. Book ahead in July and August, check what the insurance covers and bring your licence; check whether yours needs an International Driving Permit. Scooters above 50 cc need a motorcycle licence, and helmets are compulsory. Parking in Naoussa is tight in August.
